Embark on a wine tour in Valencia with a small group. Today you will visit 2 different wineries at Utiel-Requena Wine Appellation in Valencia. Learn about the wine making process and the local varieties growing here. More than 2500 years of wine history in the region makes winemakers have great know-how about the wine they produce.
A guided tour with an Official Tour Guide to discover the History of the region through the wine. We will also visit an Olive Oil Mill where they produce some of the most prized Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the region. Wander by the olive trees, learn about the making process and taste different kind of olive oil.
After the olive mill visit is the wine turn! We are at Bobal territory, an autochthonous variety (red) that represents about 75% of the total number of grapes planted in the Appellation. Requena is famous for the red Bobal wines but for the Cava Appellation too. We will visit 2 different wineries one more traditional and other more modern (in one we will do just the tasting). We will enjoy a local meal in a Restaurant to pair the local wines with local flavours. Then we will have time to visit a second winery and do the stipulated tasting before going back to Valencia.
